Description

This was a commission for a guy I found on dA that wanted me to illustrate one of his characters being fixed up by a scientist. He kept it open so it was pretty fun to do overall.

I worked on it off and on so it was hard to gauge the time, but overall I'd say it was about 10+ hours since I suck at backgrounds. :P

  Beautiful!
Thinking about the story of these characters, I wrote some nonsense. I hope you do not mind?
The woman on the table is the wife of this man. She was always a very beautiful woman and was very anxious about her appearance. Over the years, she thought about old age and how to keep her beauty forever. Eventually she found a solution in her husband's work. He is a scientist and researcher in the field of robotics. And she began to ask him to help make her eternal beauty through technology. They argued a lot about this, but eventually she persuaded her husband to do it.
She convinced herself that it was almost the same as plastic surgery, when the operation for the operation of parts of her body was replaced by mechanisms. Despite all the objections and own fears, over time she achieved that almost all of her body became artificial and only a few living organs were stored inside this elegant machine. She is used to how her systems function and that she needs electricity no less than food. She resigned herself that she a fairly large universal port on her back for power and data connection. Gradually, the artificial body greatly changed her behavior and attitude towards herself. At first, maintenance was perceived by her as something terrible, but now, years later, she looks almost indifferently at her husband's makes a minor repair of her body.
Did you have any idea about this image besides the scene itself?
